Game report: Reds 11, Yankees 4

The arms — Pete Harnisch stranded four baserunners in his three shutout innings, leaving the bases loaded in the first inning. Dennys Reyes' starting bid may have hit a snag — he allowed two runs and five hits in two innings.

The bats — Michael Coleman, 1-for-8 entering the game, went 3-for-3 with two homers, including a three-run shot in the fifth inning that cleared the 34-foot-high screen in center field. Sean Casey's three-run homer in the third inning widened the Reds' 1-0 lead and sent them cruising toward their fourth consecutive exhibition victory.

The rest — Deion Sanders hit a third-inning single. He also stole second and third in the first inning. The Yankees' starting lineup featured only two regulars, second baseman Chuck Knoblauch and right fielder Paul O'Neill.
