Sean Casey's three-run homer in the third inning widened the Reds' 1-0 lead and sent them cruising toward their fourth consecutive exhibition victory.
The rest Deion Sanders hit a third-inning single. He also stole second and third in the first inning. The Yankees' starting lineup featured only two regulars, second baseman Chuck Knoblauch and right fielder Paul O'Neill.
