Game report: Reds 7, Pirates 5

The arms — Though Scott Williamson allowed five hits in three innings, the Reds were more focused on — and encouraged by — the one walk he issued. Rookie Dustin Moseley, who's bound for the minors, struck out two in an inning.

The bats — Trailing 5-2, the Reds rallied to tie the score on Ken Griffey Jr.'s two-run double in the fifth and Matt Walbeck's pinch-hit RBI single in the sixth. They went ahead in the seventh as reliever Bobby Bradley threw ball four of an intentional walk off catcher J.R. House's glove for a wild pitch, scoring Raul Gonzalez. Donnie Sadler added a sacrifice fly.

The rest — Left fielder Dmitri Young made a nearly impossible diving catch of Derek Bell's tricky line drive in the third inning. Cincinnati's 11-hit total was a spring high.

Up next — The Reds visit the Texas Rangers in Port Charlotte, Fla., today at 1:05 p.m. Rob Bell will start against Rangers left-hander Kenny Rogers.
