Boone, Brennaman, Allen main attractions for Reds caravan

        New manager Bob Boone will lead a group of Reds players, prospects and other personnel at the team's annual caravan, which will travel through four states and six cities Jan. 19-21.

        Scheduled to appear are chief operating officer John Allen, Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman, coach Bill Doran, utility man Chris Sexton, first baseman D.T. Cromer, right-handers John Riedling and Seth Etherton, and out fielder Austin Kearns, a Lexington, Ky., native who's one of the organization's top prospects.

        The caravan is the road version of Redsfest, which will be Jan. 26-27 at the Albert B. Sabin Cincinnati Convention Center.

        The caravan schedule:

        Jan.19 — Indianapolis, Jillian's downtown, 141 S. Meridian St., 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

        Jan.20 — Louisville, Louisville Slugger Park, 401 E. Main St., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Lexington, Fayette Mall, 3472 Nicholasville Rd., 3-4 p.m.; Huntington, W.Va., Coyote's Wild Dawg Saloon, 809 3rd Ave., 6:30-8 p.m.

        Jan.21 — Columbus, Flannagan's Dublin, 6835 Caine Rd., 1-3 p.m.; Dayton, Miami Valley Baseball Academy, 8970 Kingsridge Dr., 5-7 p.m.
