The Reds will conduct an open tryout camp at Sarasota's Ed Smith Stadium on Jan.19. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the tryout will take place from 9a.m. to 1p.m.

        Any player under the legal age in the state of his permanent residence must have writ ten permission from a parent or legal guardian to participate.

        The camp is open to players who have completed their high school eligibility and who are not participating in a college or junior-college program. Participants should bring their own uniform and gloves and must pay their own traveling expenses, though players signed to a professional contract will be reimbursed.
