There's a new look to Cinergy Field sod has replaced the AstroTurf and demolition of the outfield seats has opened a large gap in the formerly closed-in stadium.
Demolition crews continue to take out the sections of seats in left and center field to make room for construction of Great American Ball Park next door. The Reds will play in the revamped Cinergy Field for the next two years as the new stadium is built.
Great American Ball Park will also have a grass field and is slated to open by Opening Day 2003.
