Sunday Osvaldo Fernandez (3-3, 3.90) vs. Wade Miller (5-6, 5.30).
The bats: Houston first baseman Jeff Bagwell (.316, 44 homers, 124 RBI) is finishing another outstanding season. Center fielder Richard Hidalgo (.304, 41 homers, 116 RBI) has established himself as a force.
The arms: Lima has allowed a major-league-high 44 homers, including three to the Reds on July 25. He also beat the Reds with a strong 6ö-inning effort five days earlier. Elarton ranks fifth in the NL in wins (17) and third in winning percentage (.739). .
The rest: Cincinnati won four of its first five games against Houston this year but has dropped the last four.
