The bats: Frank Thomas has returned to form. Thomas leads the American League in batting average (.447) with runners in scoring position. He is also among the leaders in on-base percentage at .423. He is hitting .328 with 11 homers and 42 RBI. Magglio Ordonez is hitting .292 with 10 homers and 36 RBI. Carlos Lee is hitting .287 with 13 homers and 42 RBI.
