Reds tickets to go on sale Saturday


Ticket windows, phone outlets open at 9 a.m.

        Tickets for all Cincinnati Reds 2000 regular-season home games will go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Cinergy Field advance ticket windows and the Dugout Store in the Westin Hotel downtown.

        At Cinergy, advance ticket windows are located near Gate 13 on the west side of the plaza level. Tickets can be purchased at Cinergy from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. next Monday through Friday (Jan. 17-21), and then again beginning March 1.

        The Dugout Store also will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and beginning Jan. 17 will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is no service charge for tickets bought at the Dugout Store or at Cinergy advance windows.

        Tickets for Redsfest 2000, Jan. 28-29 at the Convention Center downtown, also will be on sale this weekend. Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

        Beginning Saturday, tickets also can be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 513-421-REDS (7337); toll-free at 1-800-829-5353; at all Ticketmaster outlets including Thriftway; or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Mail orders, including $3 per order for postage and handling, should be sent to the Cincinnati Reds, P.O. Box 1970, Cincinnati, OH, 45201-1970.

        Ticket prices for Reds regular-season games are $21 and $18 for blue-level box seats, $16 and $14 for green-level box seats, $13 for yellow-level box seats, $12 for red-level box seats, $11 for green-level reserved seats, $8 for red-level reserved seats and $5 for “Top Six” reserved seats.

        Top Six seats are sold only on game days, unless all other seats are sold. Add $1 to the price of all tickets for Opening Day.

        Fans initially will be limited to 10 tickets per purchase of Opening Day tickets and 10 tickets per purchase for the July 7-9 series vs. the Cleveland Indians. The Reds open the 2000 season at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 3, at Cinergy vs. the Milwaukee Brewers.
