McKeon, Reds 'miles apart'

Jack McKeon met with managing executive John Allen for an hour on Thursday and later said he and the club are “miles apart” in talks to bring him back as manager.

“I'm not a greedy person,” McKeon said on WLW-AM's SportsTalk. “I just like to be treated fair. I love Cincinnati. I'd love to come back. But right now, we're miles apart.”

        They'll talk again today.
