Baseball apparently isn't ready to trade Marge Schott for Larry Flynt. -->
Flynt said Tuesday he probably won't bid to become the Reds' next owner because he doesn't think baseball's other owners would approve the sale.
The Hustler magazine publisher said he spoke to long-time friend Ted Turner last week and was told he didn't have a chance.
"I asked Ted to talk to (baseball Commissioner) Bud Selig, and Selig told him no way," Flynt said.
Flynt, who is facing an obscenity trial here in January, wrote a letter to Schott last month seeking financial information so he could prepare a bid for the team. Schott has been ordered to sell Reds.
