Big Red show Nov. 21-22

The Big Red Machine's "Great Eight" -- plus pitchers Gary Nolan and Manny Sarmiento -- will reunite for a collectors' show Nov. 21 and Nov. 22 at Sharonville Convention Center. The lineup:

Sat., Nov. 21: Pete Rose, Tony Perez, Cesar Geronimo, Dave Concepcion, Sarmiento.
Sun., Nov. 22: Johnny Bench, Joe Morgan, Ken Griffey Sr., George Foster, Nolan.

The show's promoter is Charles Sotto of CEI Sports. He put on a similar show in 1996, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Cincinnati's world championships of 1975-76. Among players who didn't make that reunion were Nolan and Sarmiento.
