Williams replaces Casey

The Associated Press

The Reds called up right-handed pitcher Todd Williams from Triple-A Indianapolis to take Sean Casey's roster spot. Williams, 27, was optioned to the farm club on March 15.

It will be Williams' second stint in the major leagues. He was 2-2 with a 5.12 ERA in 16 relief appearances for Los Angeles in 1995. The Reds signed him as a free agent last year and he went 5-3 with 33 saves in 60 games for their Double-A and Triple-A clubs.
