GAME REPORT
Reds 4, Blue Jays 3

spring training

  • Where: Dunedin, Fla.

  • Reds record: 10-14

  • Winning pitcher: Jeff Shaw (1-2).

  • Losing pitcher: Randy Myers (0-2)

  • The rally: The Reds rallied for four runs off Randy Myers in the top of the ninth. Aaron Boone drove in all four with a grand slam, his third homer of the spring. The loss goes down as a blown save for former Nasty Boy Myers, who converted 45-of-46 saves last year. ''It was nice to get a win,'' Reds manager Jack McKeon said. ''It seems like I got the right guys in at the end of the game.''

  • The rocket: Roger Clemens looked like Mr. Cy Young. He went seven ininngs, allowing one hit and striking out seven. He threw only 82 pitches.

  • Today's game: vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates at Sarasota, Fla., 7:05 p.m., Fox Sports Ohio.

  • Today's starters: RHP Pete Harnisch vs. RHP Jason Schmidt.
