The bombing: Dave Burba, after allowing four runs in 26 innings entering the game, gave up five runs in seven innings. Burba gave up home runs to Will Clark (solo) and Ivan Rodriguez (3-run). The home run was Rodriguez's sixth of the spring. ''(Burba) didn't pitch that bad,'' Reds manager Jack McKeon said. ''He got in trouble with some walks. The home runs were wind-blown.''
The smash: Reggie Sanders hit his second home run of the spring, a rocket shot to left-center field.
