  • The hits: Willie Greene snapped an 0-for-23 skid with an RBI double and Eddie Taubensee hit a solo homer.

  • The pitchers: Remlinger had one of the few bad nights for Reds' pitchers this spring, allowing four runs and seven hits in four innings.

  • Today's game: None.

  • Thursday's games: Split squads vs. the New York Yankees in Sarasota (1:05 p.m.) and vs. Minnesota in Fort Myers (7:05 p.m.)

  • Thursday's starters: Reds right-hander Pete Harnisch is scheduled to start against Yankees right-hander Ramiro Mendoza in Sarasota and Reds right-hander Brett Tomko opposes Twins right-hander Brad Radke in Fort Myers.
