The rally: The Reds broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the ninth to win. Dmitri Young and Eduardo Perez singled, Guillermo Garcia sacrificed with a bunt, Bret Boone was intentionally walked and Damian Jackson singled home Young with the winner.
The silence: Other than the ninth, the Reds' bats were silent, getting just four hits through eight innings.
The pitching: Mike Remlinger was solid in six innings and Gabe White, Scott Sullivan and Belinda shut the door in relief.
